A yoga studio built around community
A warm, human space in the heart of Poblenou, to practise and to meet. Founded by Carlota after six years of teaching in the neighbourhood.

Practices
Jivamukti Yoga
Hatha-vinyasa for all levels with philosophy, chanting and meditation.
Jivamukti Yoga is a path to enlightenment through compassion for all beings. Enlightenment is the dissolution of the sense of separation, the realisation of the unity of life and the discovery of lasting happiness.
Hatha-vinyasa yoga classes for all levels, incorporating the study of yoga philosophy, chanting of mantras and meditation. They offer an integral experience of the practice that brings not only strength and flexibility, but also personal rediscovery rooted in mutually beneficial relationships with all other beings.
The central philosophy of Jivamukti Yoga is expressed through five principles: Ahimsa – a non-violent and compassionate way of life; Bhakti – the recognition that the realisation of God/the Self is the goal of all yoga practices; Dhyana – meditation; Nada – development of body and mind through deep listening; Shastra – study of the ancient yogic texts.
Slow Jivamukti
Downtempo vinyasa, with more room for breathing.
Jivamukti Yoga classes at a slower pace, designed for those who want to take things step by step.
Downtempo vinyasa, with more room for breathing and meditation. A practice without complex postures, where simple movements flow with slow, deep breathing.
Ideal for slowing down and calming the nervous system.
Spiritual Warrior
A fixed sequence for a complete practice in less time.
A Jivamukti Yoga class with a fixed sequence, designed for those with demanding daily lives who want a complete practice — physical and spiritual — in less time.
The sequence is always the same: opening chant, sun salutations, standing postures, backbends, inversions, a brief meditation and final relaxation. A dynamic rhythm where the breath guides the movement.
By repeating the same sequence, the body and mind memorise it, allowing you to deepen your practice and observe your evolution class after class.
Ideal for activating the body, clearing the mind and leaving with renewed energy.
Ashtanga
The first series of Ashtanga: a fixed, dynamic sequence.
A class dedicated to the first series of Ashtanga Yoga, known as Yoga Chikitsa, “therapeutic yoga”. A fixed, dynamic sequence that purifies and strengthens the body and calms the mind.
Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the teacher who brought Ashtanga to the world, was one of the three teachers of Sharon Gannon and David Life, founders of Jivamukti Yoga. This practice is part of the roots of the method.
The guided class follows the traditional structure: sun salutations, standing postures, seated postures and closing sequence. All connected by ujjayi breathing, bandhas and the gaze point (drishti), which turn the practice into a meditation in movement.
Ideal for those seeking discipline, consistency and an intense practice that transforms through repetition.
Somatic & Restorative Yoga
Conscious movements and supported poses to find calm.
A slow, gentle practice to reconnect with your body and find calm.
Conscious movements, made from within, to feel the body, release accumulated tension and recover natural mobility. The practice includes postures held for several minutes with the support of cushions, blankets and blocks, so the body can let go completely, without any effort.
A class to relax the nervous system, reduce stress and restore energy. No prior experience needed, just the desire to pause.
Yoga Sculpt
Yoga flow with toning and strength exercises.
A dynamic, intense class that combines yoga flow with toning exercises. Fluid sequences and strength work to activate the whole body.
It strengthens, tones and makes you sweat, without losing the connection to the breath that makes yoga a mindful practice.
For all levels: you choose the weight and intensity.
Ideal for those who want an energetic practice that builds strength and endurance in a single session.
Meditation & Intuitive Drawing
Meditation and drawing to express what words cannot.
When we silence the mind and stop controlling, the present moment appears — what is real and infinite — and it is all at your disposal. Drawing is the way to materialise the energy you registered in your body during meditation. It opens the door to a reality that, through all the mental noise, you might never have noticed. It brings that reality a little closer to you and makes it more present in your life.
The purpose is to slow down, let go of self-demand and express what sometimes cannot find words. It is a path to creativity and self-knowledge, accessible to everyone.
Innerdance
A sound journey to let go and connect.
Innerdance is a practice created in the Philippines by Pi Villaraza. During the session you lie down, close your eyes and let yourself be carried by a sound journey, while the facilitator accompanies the process with her presence and energy. There is nothing to do and nothing to know: just let go.
As the mind switches off, the body can respond in its own way: with absolute stillness, spontaneous movements, deep breaths or images and sensations that arise on their own.
The purpose is to give the body and mind a space to simply be, release what is blocked and connect with their own inner intelligence. Many people experience it as a very deep rest, others as an emotional experience or one of clarity. Each session is different and unique.

Carlota
Jivamukti Yoga · Meditation · Innerdance
Carlota began her Jivamukti Yoga journey in 2020, seeking a practice to heal at her own pace. Captivated by its power, she went on to earn her Advanced Certification as a Jivamukti Yoga Teacher in 2023.
She has also trained in Kundalini Yoga, Tantra Meditation, Hatha Yoga (ROPEC certified), Oncologic Yoga at Fundació Rädika, and Innerdance with Pi Villaraza — a sound and frequency technique that restores balance and brings the body back to center.
Her mission: creating safe spaces for soulful healing through technique, love, and compassion for all beings.
YOGA · Sopa Poblenou exists because of the community she founded through yoga — people who, practice after practice, turned a room into something that felt like home. Now, this is a way of giving that feeling a permanent place to return to.
Alex
Yoga Sculpt · Functional Yoga Training
Passionate about movement, she sees practice as a way to connect with, strengthen and enjoy the body.
With 300 hours of yoga training, as well as a background in functional training and other movement disciplines, her classes are shaped by the combination of all these experiences.
She enjoys creating practices with structure and intention, while also leaving space to explore, play and move in different ways. Her classes are dynamic, mindful and challenging when needed, encouraging each person to find their own rhythm and take away more than just an hour of exercise: energy, connection and the desire to keep moving.
Aline
Somatic Restorative · Spiritual Warrior
Hi, I'm Aline. I'm a Brazilian yoga teacher based in Barcelona, with trainings across Hatha-Vinyasa, Rocket Yoga, and Jivamukti — but honestly, what I care about most isn't the certifications, it's what happens in the room.
Here I'll be teaching Somatic Restorative and Spiritual Warrior — two classes that might look opposite but come from the same place for me. One is about slowing down enough to actually feel what's in your body, not just stretch it. The other is about strength as devotion — moving with intensity and intention, not ego.
I move between Portuguese, Spanish, and English pretty fluidly, and I bring that same fluidity to how I teach — I don't think softness and power have to be separate practices.
Hold it. Feel it. Be here.
Francis
Ashtanga · Hatha-Vinyasa · Pranayama & Meditation
A trip in 2011 brought me closer to yoga in the city of Varkala, and I knew I couldn't stop exploring and deepening my practice of this discipline.
So I trained in Ashtanga, Hatha Yoga (ROPEC certified), pranayama, and meditation.
Today, yoga is an indispensable tool in my life that brings me back to center, helps me look inward, and reconnect with my body and mind.
Every day I keep learning: to pause, to observe, to not judge, to breathe… All of this to avoid disconnecting from myself and to continue having full confidence in my process.
Laura
Jivamukti Yoga
I'm Lau, an Italian yogi living in Barcelona. Through yoga, I transformed my life, and what began as a personal search for balance became a mission: to share this powerful and transformative practice with others.
I am certified in Ashtanga Yoga (200h) and Jivamukti Yoga Advanced (875h), and I combine these disciplines into a dynamic and fluid style.
My classes also integrate meditation, conscious breathing, and mantra chanting, offering a complete and holistic experience. They are designed to help you move toward your goals at your own pace, strengthening the body, calming the mind, and fostering a deeper connection with yourself.
Lisa
Jivamukti Yoga
I'm a German 800hr+ certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher. My classes are rooted in presence, creativity and a deep fascination with movement and the body.
Expect a good balance between strength and softness, dynamic and slow, being fully present and completely switching off. I love playing with movement, breath and music – from atmospheric beats to unexpected classics – creating practices that can take you somewhere else for a while.
I also believe in the power of touch. An assist can help you soften, find more space, try something you didn't think was possible. Or simply remind you that someone is there, holding space for you. It's another way of communicating support and connection.
For me, there is no other practice like yoga. It brings me back to myself, again and again – unlocking the courage to grow, take risks and trust in the journey called life. That feeling is what I want to share in my classes.
